What We Do: We offer our consignors the safest, most convenient and logical way to sell their favorite pieces of furniture that they can no longer use.  No on-line scams, low ball offers, missed appointments or strange people in your house. Our professional and economical pick-up service runs from Cape Cod to New Hampshire every week.   

We pick-up furniture, bring it to our Hanover Showroom, professionally merchandise it, photograph it and post it for the world to see on our world renowned website.  Whether you travel by foot or by mouse click, we deliver the ultimate Furniture Consignment shopping experience.

Our History: 

Established in 1992 as a small antique and furniture reseller, FCG exploded into a full service furniture consignment store able to accomodate the largest and most beautiful estates in New England.  Through our popular website, we have expanded our reach beyond our loyal New England followers.  We have shipped from Boston to California and almost everywhere in between. Today, our showroom maintains heavy foot traffic, but pales in comparison to the thousands of visitors who frequent our website each day. 

Diana Frucci: Diana is an active member of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID) and has passed the NCIDQ exam.  Diana is a graduate of the University of Kentucky’s accredited Interior Design degree program.  She was schooled by one of the top Interior Designers in the state of Kentucky before venturing to Atlanta where she worked for Mathews Furniture, a high-end furniture retailer,  where she was an Interior Designer.  In 1994, Diana started Interior Design International, a design firm specializing in residential interior design.   Diana’s talents are available to all FCG customers, and she can be scheduled for an in-home design consultation.

Jay Frucci:  A native of Hingham, Massachusetts, Jay attended Thayer Academy and went on to major in English and Communications at the University of Kentucky.  Jay made the jump from the Software Industry where he worked for ADP, EMC and Borland Software Corporation to the world of small business owner.  Jay handles marketing, website projects, and all furniture logistics. Jay works directly with customers who are considering FCG as a place to sell their furniture.

Our Staff: Includes several long time FCG employees who work on a noncommission basis to assist you in finding the right piece of furniture to complement your home.   Our staff is knowledgeable in many different types, styles and brands of furniture.  If you really want to learn about our staff, you can follow them through their selection of their "favorite pieces" in our Employee Favorites section.

Ron Cates: Ron, our Sales Manager, has been employed at Furniture Consignment Gallery for 2 years, where he displays his extensive furniture knowledge, design skills and outstanding customer each day.  Ron brings over 24 years of retail sales experience with 8 years of experience in furniture sales.  Most recently, Ron worked for Westwood Furniture in Dedham, MA. 

Joan Easterbrooks: Joan is a native of New Jersey and has worked at Furniture Consignment Gallery for 5 years.  Joan has had many years of previous experience in sales and customer service.  Joan is everybody's favorite person and is here to assist you whether you want to buy or consign through FCG. 

Lianne Jasper Gillespie:  Lianne is our photographer and web site technician. Lianne graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology.  She previously worked at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care for 19 years as a manager in the Information Technology Department.  After having her 4th child, she decided to find a job that gave her more flexibility and more fun!  Lianne joined Furniture Consignment Gallery in 2008.

Nick:  Nick has 6 years of experience in furniture moving.  He previously worked at Bob's Discount Furniture and Room By Room Furniture. Nick is our driver and is nicknamed "The Ant" because he can lift twenty times his own body weight.
