A well-designed home combines these special pieces with furniture, accessories, and color to create a unique personal style. Color Consulting:  Managing color in a home is very complicated. Factoring in natural light versus the lighting in a room can effect the outcome.  Color is what creates the mood of your house.  Bringing a new color into your home is the most inexpensive way to change the look and feel of your home, but picking the right color is very important. Having a professional who understands color pigmentation, the effects of lighting and color combinations; assist with your color selection process can prevent aggravating mistakes and disappointing results.   

Space Planning: Involves an in-home visit with an Interior Designer who will work with you to understand the requirements of your family’s living space.  We measure the room, draw the room to scale and will build an assortment of recommended room configurations so that you can gain the best use of space.  The designer will also evaluate lighting, storage needs, and furniture placement to accommodate your taste and lifestyle.

Custom Window Treatments:  Window Treatments need to be both functional and aesthetic.  Many homes have privacy concerns and would like their windows to add to the décor of the home.  A window treatment is often the finishing touch to a well-designed room.  An interior designer can assist with selecting a fabric that works with your existing furniture, rugs and wall colors.  An interior designer can also present you with different styles of window treatments that will meet your functional needs and will work with your décor.  On the second floor of our showroom, you will see a sampling of the different styles of window treatments that we can custom design for you.

Wall Paper and Paint Selection:  A well designed home combines fine wall paper and paint so that it creates a comfortable flow in your home.  Many people make the mistake of shying away from wallpaper, but wallpaper can bring a unique look to your home and can add touches of color that sharpen the look of  a room.  Coordinating wall paper, paint, window treatments and appropriate lighting together will make your home warm, comfortable and unique! When this process is done properly, family and friends will admire the beauty of your home, but they will also feel comfortable.  Come in and utilize our design center to help you select the wallpaper and paint color that is right for you.

Reupholstering:  FCG can reupholster your favorite sofa, chair, or ottoman. Simply select a fabric in our Design Center and we take care of the rest.  We are believers in making what you already have work with your home, but sometimes those existing pieces need a fresh look to work with your updated décor.  Reupholstering a side chair, dining room chairs or your favorite love seat or sofa can turn something old into something refreshing and new. We can pick up your furniture then re-deliver it to you looking like new.
