Our history

FCG was established in 1992 by Susan and Tom Fiore as a furniture reseller in Hanover, MA. For thirteen years, the Fiores successfully captured the high-end furniture resale market on Boston’s south shore. In 2005, Diana and Jay Frucci purchased the assets of FCG with a vision to expand to more locations and to reach more buyers and sellers. Shortly after the acquisition, FCG became a trendsetter for consignment shops across the country as we were the first in our industry to showcase inventory online. Our website gained popularity and we expanded our reach beyond our loyal New England followers. Over the years, our products have shipped from Boston to Hawaii and almost everywhere in between. Many of our customers are on a first name basis with our staff, and thousands of readers enjoy our Saturday morning newsletter. Today, our three stores maintain heavy foot traffic, but we have also changed with the times. We continue to experiment with new and different ways to connect our buyers and sellers together. But, with all that has changed, we still offer the same personal shopping experience that helped us to grow before we had advanced technology.
